CIGOLAND
At the bottom of the range of hills on which the castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg stands, in the centre of Alsace, Cigoland is a leisure park which is great fun but also educational.
You’ll be greeted by the bill-clattering of the white storks, the quintessential symbol of Alsace.
In Cigoland, all the magical ingredients are there for a great day out for the whole family !
Present in large numbers in the park, with more than 100 birds and almost 50 born each year, this wading bird with its red beak and black and white plumage is the star of the show here.
In addition to the attractions, the children can also discover almost 25 additional animal species including: lamas, emus, swans, deer, ponies and more.
Nearby, you can also visit the Volerie des Aigles (Eagle Park) and the Montagne des Singes (Monkey Mountain).
