Château de Grünstein

The lower courtyard of the castle was built in the XVth century. It is still surrounded by ditches full of water. The main building, rectangular features co-existing, different architectural styles, resulting from successive modifications. Another castle existed, probably at Stotzheim, perhaps on a mound of earth. That one dated from the XIIIth century and was called Schollenhof.

Today the castle is a guest house. It's not open to the public, but can be seen from the outside.
