The Maison de la Nature du Ried et de l'Alsace Centrale has teamed up with the Auberge du Frankenbourg - awarded a Michelin star and a green star for its sustainable gastronomy - to offer you a unique sensory experience in the heart of nature.
Comfortably seated in a horse-drawn carriage, you'll discover the unspoilt countryside of Muttersholtz, with its wet meadows and areas of remarkable biodiversity. There are five stops along the way, each with a refined tasting experience devised by Chef Sébastien Buecher and his team. The menu features products from neighbouring farms, chosen for their freshness, organic provenance and the commitment of the producers. These delicate dishes will be accompanied by drinks carefully selected by the Frankenbourg brigade, in perfect harmony with each mouthful.
On the menu:
Amuse-bouche: Beef and wild plant tartare, pita bread
Sweet and sour vegetarian dish : Thick slice of apple, wild flower and plant salad, walnut oil vinaigrette, shavings of dried goat's cheese
Meat: Skewer of summer venison, marinated with herbs, corn cake and strong jus
Dessert : Light chocolate mousse, wild summer plants sorbet, a few crystallised flowers and herbs
Practical information:
Dress appropriately for the weather: trousers, closed shoes and preferably sleeves.
In the event of bad weather, you will be informed whether the event will be held or postponed.
