Workshop: develop your vocal power, introduction to belting
7 rue de Bâle (parking gare Sud), 67600 Selestat
Belting is a vocal technique used in modern singing (rock, pop, variety, etc.) to produce high, clear, powerful notes in the chest register.
The aim of this course is to present ‘Belting’ from a physiological point of view, based on the link between the different spheres involved in singing: the voice, the body and the mind.
Drawing on their own experience and repertoire, participants will explore different ways of achieving a more powerful, resonant and enduring voice, and developing their tessitura, without excessive fatigue and with respect for vocal health.
In partnership with La Maison Bleue, where a complementary introductory workshop on the effects of vocal saturation will be offered on Saturday 25/01/2025: https://lamaisonbleue-stbg.com
Speaker: Arnaud Ménard is a singer and vocal technique teacher. His approach is based on what we know about the physiology of the singing voice. He specialises in teaching techniques specific to singing in contemporary music and helps vocalists prepare for the studio or the stage.
