European Days of Jewish Culture and Heritage

Open house all day at the Blaues Haus (Blue House) in Breisach, a memorial and educational space dedicated to the history of the Jewish population in the Upper Rhine region. Dating back to the 17th century, the house was used by the Jewish community of Breisach as a school from 1829 onwards and later as a community centre. Programme: 11 a.m.: guided tour of the Blaues Haus and exhibitions – in French 12 p.m.: guided tour of the old Jewish cemetery – in German. Meet in front of the Blaues Haus, Rheintorstrasse 3. 2pm: guided tour of the Blaues Haus and exhibitions – in French 3pm: guided tour of the new Jewish cemetery – in German.
