Présentation

The Musée de l'Impression sur Etoffes (Printed Textiles Museum) invites you to travel with "indiennes", the fabrics that arrived from India and were adopted throughout Europe. Throughout the 19th century, these fabrics helped the Haut-Rhin region navigate its way through industrial development, technical innovation and artistic influence, with Mulhouse as its anchor! Anne Baumann offers guided tours on this theme at 2pm and again at 4pm. Bérengère Paris and Estelle Specklin, alias Poupet-Pounket, open the doors of their workshop from 2pm to 5pm to introduce you to the woodblock printing technique. You'll be able to take your printed pouch home with you. For families, the "Mysteries of the Prohibited Indienne" treasure hunt is a fun way to discover the museum. Only in French.
