Commemorative concert: Tribute to Albert Schweitzer

To commemorate September 4, the date marking the death of Albert Schweitzer, the Maison Albert Schweitzer in Gunsbach is organizing a special concert in his honor. We will be delighted to welcome the singing group directed by Lise Wernain.

Created in 2007, this group began by leading worship services in the Munster parish and has expanded throughout the consistory, bringing together singers from all over the region. Its mission is to liven up consistory services and other festive celebrations with songs drawn from a current, dynamic Christian repertoire. The group operates on the basis of conviviality and the pleasure of singing together. For this concert, it is accompanied by singers and musicians from the Temple de la Paix church in Munster. This configuration meets several times during the year to enliven and share musical highlights during special celebrations.

The program for this concert will include a nod to Africa, a bit of Gospel, and a zest of praise, promising a rich and varied musical moment.
