Présentation

As part of European Heritage Days, Le Chaudron – an art and craft collective in the Pays Welche region – invites you to a presentation of the crafts of its five women local creators.

- Bretz'elle Créations: Marine Marmillot
- En forme de terre : Gaëlle Duvernoy
- Lanterne : Sophie-Dorothée Kleiner
- Petit brin de Nature : Dominique Mercier
and l'Atelier de Pastille & Cachou:  Pascale Goulby

For this occasion, Orbey Town Hall will open its doors, including those of the historic council chamber. This will be an opportunity to reveal two aspects of heritage at the same time: architectural heritage and artistic and craft heritage.

Come and discover the skills and expertise of the five members of the collective, who will take turns to reveal their innovative and inventive worlds, as well as some of their creations, in fields as varied as eco-recycling, ceramics, basketry and marquetry.

Please note that you can also take part in a collaborative game called ‘le cadavre exquis’!

On Saturday and Sunday at 3 pm, the Historical Society of the Canton of Lapoutroie and Val d'Orbey offers a one-hour guided tour of Orbey town centre to learn more about its historical sites (only in French).
