Great Duck Race

This is an original lottery organised by CAKCIS, the Sélestat canoeing and kayaking club. Plastic ducks are launched into the water in the Ill at Sélestat. The first 100 ducks to complete the course will give their sponsor a chance to win one of the 100 prizes up for grabs. In 2023, more than 6,000 ducks were launched from the Ill bridge and all the ducks were, of course, received downstream of the slalom basin. The funds raised by this event are used to support our association, in particular our Pink Ladies section, with which we help to rehabilitate women suffering from breast cancer.
