This concert invites you to take an inner journey through the unique landscapes of the imagination, following the movements of the soul. From the fairy tale evoked in Janacek's Pohàdka to the surreal world of Poulenc, via Chopin's magisterial and energetic youthful Polonaise, this concert celebrates the poetic and profoundly human power of music. It also includes one of the finest masterpieces written for the cello: Claude Debussy's Sonata for Cello and Piano in D minor.
