SHEKHINA, a poetic and musical show, sung and danced

Schätzeli searches for the Shekhina. She looks for it in the overcooked roast, in the wine that is passed around, in Opa's mechanical prayers. The important thing is to be together. How? It doesn't matter. A heritage carved out from within. Schätzeli moves forward, bent over, marked by exile. As she wanders, she strives to grasp her family history in order to understand and define her own identity. It is said that Shekhina accompanies the exiles. But can we tear ourselves away from our roots to lift our souls towards home?

Through poetic and sensory language, this creation speaks of home and exile, wandering and belonging, spirituality and cultural heritage.
