Christmas concert "Noëlies" : The Colours of the Soul

ARROM is delighted to welcome the Noëlies with a concert entitled Les couleurs de l'âme.

A concert coloured by spirituality and mysticism to the sound of sacred music composed by Baroque geniuses imbued with faith.

The faithful have always sung hymns in church, and composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Friedrich Handel have made Europe's oldest vaults resound with their music of thanksgiving.

In this programme, a dialogue is established between the voice of the soul (Hélène Le Corre), that of Christ on the organ (Frédéric Desenclos) and that of the violin (Patrick Cohën-Akenine), which symbolises eternal bliss.

One aria follows another, calling for the liberation of the soul from the torments of life, the expression of grief at the death of Christ, and joyful trust in the Lord.

Thanks to the intensity of this music, the congregation rises to a divine, liberating beatitude.
