St Nicolas

Saint Nicolas has expressed the wish to be closer to children once again. That's why young and old alike are invited to meet him in person during several slots between 4pm and 7pm. There will be plenty of entertainment to keep them waiting for the big moment.

On the programme:

• Cheerful elves will be handing out sweets and hot chocolate to well-behaved children (while stocks last).
• Theatrical reception by Eureka Animations between 4pm and 7pm at the Town Hall
• Mr François, Santa's private postman. Straddling his three-wheeled vehicle (a mobile post office), he travels around the Christmas market and the streets of your town, greeting children and helping them send their wishes to Father Christmas. On board, he takes out ink, paper and envelopes to write the letter to Father Christmas. Mr François, a loquacious and affable storyteller, will take the opportunity to tell them extravagant, amusing, far-fetched and dramatic stories and tales of Santa's doings. These stories will plunge young and old alike into the wonderful world of Christmas, where poetry, emotions, joy, fear and enchantment come together. From 4.30pm to 5pm in Place de la Victoire, from 5.30pm to 6pm in Place Kubler and from 6.30pm to 7pm in Place d'Armes.
• Fire juggling by the Nickel association from 4pm to 4.30pm in Place de la Victoire, from 5pm to 5.30pm in Place Kubler and from 6.15pm to 6.40pm in Place d'Armes.
• The traditional speech will be given at around 6pm from the Town Hall.
