Infos pratiques
In Denmark and Switzerland, teachers who practise ‘outdoor schooling’ talk about the many benefits for their pupils in terms of behaviour, progress and academic results. In France, this outdoor teaching practice is becoming more widespread in the public sector, but it remains an isolated experiment and is still rarely practised on a regular basis. However, for the past three years, Elise Sergent, a teacher in the multi-level class at the public school in Mancenans, in the Doubs region, has been teaching in the forest one day a week, whatever the weather.
After watching the film, testimonials will highlight local initiatives in outdoor schooling.
Programme supported by PETR Sélestat Alsace Centrale and the Community of Communes of Sélestat and Territories. In partnership with the municipality of Muttersholtz.
