Concert : orchestre de chambre de Sélestat

Concert around the music of Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber

This spring, the Sélestat chamber orchestra joins forces with the Alsatian vocal ensembles Hémiole and De si de la for a rich and varied programme.

The listeners will travel successively through three atmospheres of deep religious works, from Pachelbel to Gounod, culminating in Biber’s requiem. In this concert largely dedicated to this unknown composer, two instrumental pieces will complete this (re)discovery of Biber’s work.
