Concert: le Quartet Gospel

Lions International, Ebersheim Les Deux Chapelles branch, is organising a Gospel concert, with all the proceeds going to support the expenses of Saint-Martin Church.

Four voices to sing and tell the dramatic story of the black slaves who worked on the plantations of the American South until the 19th century. It was they who created Gospel, a music born of Protestant hymns in the English language: rhythmic, original... and deeply authentic because it is nourished by so much pain and despair.

Since 2018, the Quartet Gospel has performed in numerous churches, cultural venues and small theatres in the Vosges, Franche-Comté and Alsace.
