The Humanist Library invites you to discover a selection of Nativity scenes in 16th-century books: hidden in a drop cap or imposing across a full page, these touching engravings offer a journey back in time. Then browse through a digital copy of Balthazar Beck's work on display in the Treasury. Master of Ceremonies at Sélestat Town Hall in the early 17th century, Beck recounts in his chronicle the various celebrations he organised, particularly the end-of-year festivities.
Special opening hours on 24 and 31 December: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Closed on 24 and 25 December.
