Hiking tour - Ortenbourg and Ramstein from the Hühnelmühle

From Scherwiller towards Châtenois on the D35 (wine road), at the large bend, take the small forest road and park at the Hühnelmühle car park.  The castle is not accessible by car.

This hike will take you through the Ortenbourg massif, which has been granted a biotope protection order for its remarkable flora and fauna. You will take part of the GR5 (red rectangle) and discover the castles of Ramstein and Ortenbourg.
The Ramstein is in the process of being consolidated and is closed to visitors.
