Présentation

Two families, the Sallmen family in the old Betschdorf railway station and the Tritschler family in Schwabwiller, distinguished themselves from the traditional Betschdorf salt stoneware pottery by producing terracotta pottery in the former case and glazed stoneware in the latter. These two potteries are no longer in operation, but are part of the great history of Betschdorf potters, and as such deserve to be highlighted by the museum.
