Heritage Days - Guided tour of Dachstein-Village

Like many Alsatian villages, Dachstein is brimming with old stones and unusual places. Away from the main traffic arteries, the village has preserved a wealth of heritage that is well worth a visit. Two castles and numerous half-timbered houses are nestled within medieval ramparts erected by the bishop of Strasbourg, the powerful lord of the Bruche valley. Come and discover the streets and alleys of the old town on this historical walk. With the help of archive documents and old photographs, you'll learn more about small rural monuments, lost trades and daily life in the past. Open to all, easy tour lasting 2 hrs.
