Présentation

Understanding the evolution of the site since 1944. Since 1944, the Natzweiler camp site has become a major place of remembrance. A guided tour shows how this memory has developed, from the first tribute paid after the discovery of the concentration camp to the creation of the European Center for Deported Resistance Members in 2005. The White Cross, the ash pit, the memorial inaugurated by General de Gaulle and the national necropolis are all places that bear witness to the desire to remember and pass on. An opportunity to explore the site in a different way, through the history of its memorial construction.
