European Heritage Days: Walk to Salm Castle

Présentation

Take a walk through the forest towards the castle and discover the stories and people who have shaped this small area of the castle hill. Follow the medieval path to the remains of Salm Castle (13th century)!
This guided walk tells the rich history of the men of this enchanted country. A journey through time, during which your guide, who is passionate about ferns, will introduce you to this plant that is an accomplice of the old stones of the castle. All along the hillside of the castle, you will discover the different human and natural histories that will lead you to the ruins of the castle of Salm (812 m alt.) and meet the volunteers who are working on its consolidation. Departure of the walk at 2pm, return around 5.30pm. The route is 3 km long with a 200 m difference in altitude.
