Sommerley Nature Reserve

One of the jewels of the Rhine alluvial forests, protected since 1989. It's a dense forest, with many creeper that give it an aspect of true Alsatian jungle... A listed voluntary nature reserve located at the heart of 600 hectares of Rhineland forest, this protected are is surroundeed by the Rhine and a high-water dyke built in the 18th century.
