Nuit des Musées : archives municipales

As part of Museum Night, the municipal archives are opening their doors to visitors to find out more about sports archives and the issues involved in preserving them.

In February 2024, Sélestat's archivists launched a challenge to collect sports archives. Several municipal associations have already taken up the challenge, and this 'night' will provide an opportunity to showcase the initial results.

But what are 'sports archives'? Why collect them? How can they be preserved? How can they be processed and analysed? The answers will be revealed in a fun, participatory exhibition.
