Sli'bar, a small country bistro, is on fire. The underwear factory, "les culottés Schneider", is about to be bought out by an American-Chinese investor. Led by union delegate Dédé, the workers go on strike. By a twist of fate, the social struggle doesn't take place in the street, but in the bar.
All the players in the village are there: Madame la Maire, her secretary, Brigadier Schmitt, Madame Schneider, the workers and the journalist from Ici Alsace. All these characters take us on a social adventure that resembles a hostage situation.
