Présentation

FORMER HALL AND GRANARY
The gothic building was erected in 1470 on the site of the former medieval synagogue. Due to a shortage of room, weapons were stored in the arsenal Saint-Hilaire, hence its name the arsenal Saint Barbara, the patron saint of artillery men. Then it was restored to its primal function : a store house for corn, tobacco and hop. In 1901, the first floor altered into a theatre room then meeting hall. The second floor then served as a festivity room and they are still used as such. On the front corner, a statue of Saint Barbara.
