Screening of the documentary film Le fleuve invisible, un trésor sous la plaine du Rhin, directed by Serge Dumont

Beneath the Rhine plain flows an invisible river. A groundwater ecosystem where water and life find their way. This water can be seen in rare places, when it gushes out under pressure from the subsoil, forming crystal-clear rivers. Unique life forms thrive in this pure water. However, this treasure is threatened by invasive species, intensive agriculture and irrigation, which are drying up the rivers.

The director will be present to discuss the genesis and behind-the-scenes of this film.

In partnership with the Lieu documentaire, the municipal services Ville d'art et d'histoire, Environnement and Bibliothèque Humaniste to discover our natural heritage.
