Classical concert

The Heinrich Schütz Kantorei is devoting its programme this year to some of life's contrasts. Dreams and nightmares, day and night, love and abandonment, falling asleep and waking up, wandering and persevering. Many Romantic poems delve into the deepest layers of human feelings, desires and fears.

Fortunately, many composers have chosen these poems to create intense and colourful choral works: J. Brahms, C. Gounod, G. Fauré, C. Saint Saens, C. Debussy, H. Wolf, J. Rutter, M. Lauridsen.

From this broad palette, the Heinrich Schutz Kantorei wishes to present a few jewels of the choral landscape. It will be accompanied by Daniel Roos on piano and conducted by its conductor Cornelius Leenen.
