Conference: North Korea, the hermit kingdom

Enigmatic, mysterious, nebulous... These terms are often used to describe North Korea... It is true that many extraordinary aspects make up Kim Jong Un's country. They will be presented to you in summary form using photos taken on site, animated maps and videos. The presentation will cover the country's history, its “great” leaders and its unique political characteristics. It will be an opportunity to penetrate the opacity of the “hermit kingdom” and be amazed... 

After obtaining a Federal Maturity Certificate in Economics from the Lycée Jean Piaget, Karim Erard continued his studies at the University of Neuchâtel, where he obtained a Master's degree in Arts with specialisations in Philosophy, French and Journalism. He also completed his training with a Master's degree in Education at the HEP / BEJUNE. Since 2005, he has been teaching philosophy and French at DIVSSA and DIVART in Delémont, where he passes on his passion for these subjects to his students. An avid traveller, he has had the opportunity to visit 58 countries, enriching his understanding of cultures and civilisations around the world. Since 2019, he has been sharing his expertise by giving lectures on North Korea, offering unique insights into this enigmatic country.
