Classical concert

This year, the Amis de l'église abbatiale are celebrating their half-century of existence.
It was in 1974 that the association's articles of association were deposited, with the aim of taking charge of the communal part of the restoration work on the building, as well as its cultural activities and the promotion of the heritage bequeathed by the Benedictine monks of the 18th century.

To mark the occasion, a major jubilee concert will be held on Sunday 7 July.
This festive occasion will be celebrated by our long-standing partner in the Musical Hours: the Capella Carolina, the large choir of the University of Heidelberg.
In consultation with its conductor Franz Wassermann, we have chosen Giacomo Puccini's Messa di Gloria, a lively, lyrical mass to pay tribute to the work accomplished over the past 50 years by the volunteers of the Amis de l'abbatiale association.
