Hautes Chaumes de Rotenbach Nature Reserve

The reserve is located on the main peak in the Vosges, close to the summit of the “Rothenbachkopf” (4318 feet high) and the Rothenbach Nature and Environment Discovery Centre. It rises in stages between 3000 and 4200 feet high. The Rothenbach stubblefields are representative of the heathland landscapes at altitude in the Vosges, known generally as Hautes-Chaumes.
