Exhibition : c'est notre histoire !

"It's our history", exhibition of the Foundation for the Memory of the Deportation to mark the "national day of the commemoration of the memories of the slave trade, slavery and their abolition" celebrated on May 10th since 2006. From the 15th to the 19th centuries, more than 11 million men, women and children were captured in Africa, transported across the Atlantic and enslaved to work in very harsh conditions in colonial farms in America. The CIDH will also propose animations for children and young people on the theme "Let's talk about slavery, including contemporary slavery.
