Chapelle du Taennelkreuz

This chapel was built in 1905. It was consecrated on September 23rd 1906 and dedicated to the Holy Cross. With a cruciform plan and a neo-Gothic style, it is perched in the middle of the vineyard at the foot of the Rittersberg. It remains a privileged place for walks with a view of the village and the plain. There you will find yourself at the start of the small wine trail, about 1 hour and the hike to the castle of Ortenbourg. This sanctuary is maintained by benefactors.
