Exibition : papiers d'Archives : pliés, roulés, reliés
At the Municipal Archives, we can say that the staff bends over backwards to conserve, sort, communicate and valorise paper in all its forms. Whether it is made of parchment, cardboard, tracing paper, rag, peel or recycled paper, it will be the object of all our attention for long-term conservation. Techniques and uses have evolved considerably and it is sometimes surprising to see how documents have survived the centuries without too much damage. A multitude of forms and appearances make up the Archives' collections and require, for each one of them, kindness and precaution adapted to each case, to hope to make them cross a few more centuries of our history.
