The Association Mémorial Maginot de Haute-Alsace organizes its traditional reenactment of the Battle that took place at the Aschenbach casemate in Uffheim which allows us to see the life on the front and around the battlefields between 1939 and 1945.
More than a hundred "combatants" participate in these liberation fights with their weapons, Jeep, half-tracks and other restored materials. The reconstruction shows the occupation of Alsace by the German army in 1940, then the liberation by the Allies at the end of 1944.
Many activities will be offered throughout these three days.
During the weekend, the casemate museum and the blockhouse are open to visitors.
Catering on site.
