Concert de l’ensemble de flûtes traversières « Traverselair ».

This "Flutes in Advent" concert offers a brilliant musical interlude, including Johann Strauss's "Overture to the Bat" and Astor Piazzolla's "Oblivion". The flute will also prove sweet and festive in this Advent season with a "Christmas Banquet" from the Renaissance period, as well as a "Christmas Oratorio" by Saint Saens, not to mention the various nods to popular Christmas melodies known and unknown.

The transverse flute ensemble will bring together 8 flautists for the occasion, all teachers in the Haut-Rhin as well as in the Vosges. This concert is also a discovery of the flute family, enriched by the piccolo, alto and bass flutes. They will bring a beautiful amplitude of sound and varied flute timbres.
